Get Along Gang??? Or Punky Brooster?

I was so little but my Grandmother gave me fridge mags
with all of the characters on them.

Did any of you watch it?
 
yes Punky Brewster used to be my fav show.. Wow..Soleil Moon Frye is her name in case you didnt know. ha. :)

in case you wondered why her name? weird? well it is unquie. I like her name as it is related to astronomy. lol..

"Soleil" is French for the sun, and with her second name of Moon is a reference to the Broadway standard (from Annie Get Your Gun), "I've got the sun in the morning and the moon at night."

She was in a movie that i watched not long ago. i recognized her right then. the movie title is I have been waiting for you.. She also starred in Sabrina, Teenage Witch few times. she grew up into a beautiful young lady. She was also known to have breast reduction surgery at age of 15. Dont know if you knew this ? due to health reasons.
 
:giggle: My youngest daughter used to watch Punky Brewster when she was little. She even started dressing like her too. She would wear her hair in pigtails, with different color elastics, different color socks, patches and best of all the bandana on one of her legs. It was so cute to see her this way. Now, she is 22 years old, when we talk about that time, she says to me, "God I was such a dork"!!! :giggle: I still think she looked cute.

haha, That's cute. I used to be like that thinking Punky Brewster was my whole world and I had the faze thinking I was so rad, in style. Gawsh, Those 80's stuffs makes me feel so noglastic and it makes me think "What the heck did I get into?" haha

yeah she was my fav actress when i was young.. then she disappeared from public for long time.. i never heard of her again till i saw the movie and realized what if she did starred in movies so i checked on her and realized she did act in several low budget movies..

she is the youngest director for the movie- Wild horses.. i havent seen that movie yet.. i am real curious about that one. might rent it if they have it .. will check it soon..
 
OOOOOh Punky Brewster!!! It was my nickname when I was 19 yrs old. I happened wore Punky Brewster halloween costume. My friends decided to call me Punky for the whole year. Now they forgot!! whew!!
