Alright... just wondering. This is an oral school. NO thanks!
That's too bad. I really do think most Deaf programs should function as an "branch " of the state School for the Deaf. That way more students could take advantage of the programs and resources. I do know that Utah School for the Deaf is pretty good. One of my friends sent her hoh daughter there for awhile.but there is very little support from the Utah School for the Deaf
My daughter attends Jean Massieu School for the Deaf in Utah. I really like the program, it is small but the teachers are great. It is a bi-bi program but there is very little support from the Utah School for the Deaf. So we don't really get a lot of extra services (or money!)
Indiana School for the Deaf, Maryland School for the Deaf and The Learning Center are very good schools. It depends on what you are looking for so if u can provide more info, I can help.
Welcome to AD!
Well theyve revamped things and improved things. Which is good. Remember until very recently, Deaf ed was really bad b/c all the experts thought that we couldn't really learn. Also, ASL based insturcution seemed to be mostly for the kids who couldn't really achieve.
Yep, ISD has bone bi-bi! Yay!
