Anyone like to eat oysters?

Oysters are hugely popular here; they have festivals for them. People here have individual shucking knives with their names engraved, and fancy handles. It's a big cultural thing.

Myself, I can only eat them if they are fresh, breaded and deep fried, dunked in tartar sauce, and eatten while still hot.

I prefer steamer clams and mussels.
 
No i dont like eating oyster, only my father eat it if it mixed with garlic etc... but raw nope...
 
ewww not me.. i dont like all seafoods.. no thanks! sorry! :hyper: ugh...
 
Judging by the strong aversion towards oysters here, I can accurately predict how people will react if I created a new thread with a poll: ANYONE LIKE TO EAT SASHIMI?

Yep, I do like to eat oysters, but not often. I had home made razor clam chowder...Northwest style, it's yummy! We went clam digging and collected some of them and cooked them and made chowder. That was about 2 years ago, I think.
 
if you can eat a raw oyster, you can eat anything.

Ummm no......you couldn't eat that cheese from Sicely that's let's just say is highly fermented....
I love Oysters.....YUM!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Just had a couple of shooters the other day at Disneyland!

Disneyland? Wow, your'e a 35 minute drive from me!
 
It really didn't taste anything special. I don't know why people eat that...
then they put lemon juice on it or something else on it to make it
taste better.

I might as well just eat chicken or fish.
 
I haven't tried oysters before. I wouldn't even consider eating one ever!
 
I did eat oysters but not great. yuck!!!! could see little green stuffs. Its tastes :ugh: like fish. I almost vomit but drink saved me. I was told that one can enhance penis bigger.
