"M" 1931 from Germany

I enjoy watching foreign movies, because I like to watch something different and learn something about culture.

I seem to prefer French and Spanish movies. But, I wish there are more French movies with English subs because they sure make good movies.

hi bottesini and omegaman,

omegaman, cool, I like any foreign movie (only if it's a good movie just like here in USA).

bottesini, I saw "la viven rose" I heard you hoh, she has amazing powerful voice. also other movie "sophie" german or france I'm not sure, that movie gave me feeling chill it's not horror movie, it based on a true story.

Yes, I like foreign movies. I like the old martial arts movies.

For me the music film is not interesting. I like film noir. And I like Peter Lorre. "M" was his first movie.

While my sister was growing up in the 1940s and '50s, the films she was best able to enjoy were silent films with printed signs throughout and foreign films with subtitles, so I used to go to those movies with her.

Fatty Arbuckle and W.C. Fields comedies were best in silent films.
In the '50s, French "New Wave" films would have been R-rated today.

Nowadays, I'm glad closed captions gives us lots more choices.

Yes, I do.

That's why I buy a pass to attend International Film Festival in Melbourne for few years now because they have subtitles.

Gee... that's gonna be tough. I can't remember. Hmm...

The Eye
Double Vision
Dark Water
Suicide Club (aka Suicide Circle)
Wishing Stairs (aka Whispering Corridors 3)
Battle Royale 1 & 2
Ju-On 1 & 2
Ringu 1, 2, 0, & 1.5
Cure
Infection
Tomie

These are what I've seen. There are a few others, but I can't remember them at the moment. There are also a lot more J-Horror that you should see. (J-Horror means Japanese Horror.)
