Anyone know Esperanto

Do we have any Esperantists on here?

I know this is over two years old, but it doesn't hurt to check and see if anyone's started learning it since then. I'm interested in learning it on the promise of it being easier to learn than ethnic/national languages and prepping me for a more organized way of learning those languages in the future. I have mental and confidence blocks in learning languages. I go so far as to learn the writing systems, pronunciation rules, and the vocabulary before I get stuck on grammar and block-out/shut-down. I've experienced this problem with español and Hindi.
