In today's Parade magazine paper it said that Drone Technician is a growing field that pays $60-68,000 per year.
Re: Association for Unmanned Vehicle Systems Internationalwwwwwwhhhhhhhhhhhhhaaaaaaaaaaaaaaattttttttttttt?????????
Sidelined?no amazon's not doing it anymore. it got sidelined and it'll stay that way for most likely several years.
Yesterday, we were all sitting in my brothers backyard having a BBQ. There was a drone flying over his neighbors house. I was told that the neighbors contractor uses the drone to take measurements for the new roof. A little crazy that people can see what you're doing in your own backyard.
My Phantom 2 can go up to 400 ft, and horizontally, it can go up to 900 ft but If you beefed up the antenna, it can go up to mile and half but the only problem is that it will drain the battery faster.
Now talking about breaking up the communication, Phantom will either automatically fly back home if you set up home point or will fly toward you till it restore communication.
Military Drones can fly higher they say as high 50,000 feet

I don't think there's gonna be civilian drones equal to the military because of a lot of regulatory constraints........
