Anyone in Ashe or Watauga County?

I was just wondering if there was anyone from AllDeaf living near Ashe or Watauga? I feel like there is absolutely no Deaf community here. Hopefully someone will prove me wrong.
 
I live in Caldwell County too ... North Carolina School for the Deaf is in Burke County (Morganton)
 
That's a good distance to the mountains. I'm originally from Mecklenburg (Charlotte).
 
I'm in Davie County(Mocksville), near Forsyth County(Winston Salem), Davidson County(Lexington), Yadkin County(Yadkinville), and Rowan County(Salisbury).
