anyone here enjoy shooting guns? for sport or hunting.

I have to do some target shooting for work. I don't mind it once in a while for some fun, but I'm not crazy about shooting.
What kind of work do you do?

Very cool website! The first gun I shot was a single shot H & R 12 ga. shotgun. I was about 10 years old. Thought it was cool but a little scary!

The first rifle was probably a Marlin Model 60 .22 semi-auto I bought in the Navy. The handgun probably would have been a Ruger Mark 2 .22 or a black powder .50 cal revolver in high school.

first gun i shot was a .357 had a lot of jump considering i was so young. wasnt ready for it the first time. after that it was all good.

I also shot a 410 shotgun and a black powder rifle early on in my high school days. Very cool website that I have now visited a couple of times and will keep checking. .357 packs a punch for a youngin! Thanks & I hope you win!

First gun I shot was a .12ga shotgun when I was 10-12? at Grandpa's farm while we were having a family reunion. That shotgun had no rubber on the butt and the adults laughed at me when I answered "NO" if I wanted to take another shot. Some sick joke eh?

Yeah, I would like to get back into shooting my Hoyt bow and maybe take up turkey hunting or wild boars.

Oh ... the thought of pork chops on the grill. Wild boar, now that's about the only thing that would make me desire to go hunting again. Have u ever tasted wild boar? I have not.
None around my area in Illinois, I looked at the MDC site and see you have plenty in your area. Lucky you.

Oh, those single action cowboy guns sure are sexy! I have never eaten wild boar but I'm sure it tastes a lot like pig! :laugh2: I have been hunting for them once without success. We saw plenty of signs they had been there and the guys we talked with said they raided their camp the night before. Might have to try again with the .45!

Oh welcome back.

I went to the shooting range with a friend using a pistol and magnum and I LOVE it! it was awesome lol

Went and shot my 1911 .45 last night at Bass Pro's indoor range. Big bang and lots of fun but at 50 cents a round it is not cheap to plink with!

I think animals bearing arms to level the playing field with hunters is sexy.

I think an association between weapons intended to kill and "sexy" is pathological. Agreed, though. A level playing field would make for an interesting confrontation.

To I shot the .22 rifle, revolver, and satuday night special, the SKS, and Mosin Magon(sp). Had a great time!

Anyone shoot a Ruger GP or SP? whats the trigger like?

I have never shot a gun but is something I would like to try one day. Although I did recently have my first go at archery and loved that :)

Welcome to AD Automeve! I also enjoy archery but I have not strung up my bow in years. I do miss it! Do you have a recurve or compound bow? or something else? To my understanding, shooting guns are difficult where you live?
