Anyone here a birdwatcher?

I was at my in-laws' yesterday. We kept seeing these gorgeous bright orange birds. They live on a ranch. Any ideas what they might be?

What state is that in? here a web site of red or orange birds , orioles are oranges

I saw a white heron at the duck pond today . It come around once in awhile and it very odd to see it with all the ducks
