She & her husband are workers and pay tax, don´t they? It´s understandable if anyone are self-employee like Reba & her hubby..

And people who make alot money alike over 150,000 per year, they don't get tax rebate.

Oh no, we supposed to get it last Friday May 9th but nothing came in and no word heard from IRS. dunno

Yea Liebling, but even when we pay taxes, it depends on how much it was taken out of your paycheck, if you were paying too much to the government on taxes from your paycheck, You'll get a refund, if you were paying less to the government from your paycheck then you owe the government money. ;)
 
DreamDeaf is await for hers refund since May 9th and not get it yet.....

We owe taxes cuz we make too much money in the eyes of the IRS.
 
I don't think I would be getting mine in June/July since to my salary exceeded to its policy in AUS, maybe I might just get $50 or not. Depends on the tax. :confused:

Yes, I know before Cheri tried to explain me because it does the same here in Germany but I still don´t understand about your situation because I beleive that your situation are the same as ours as well. We pay low tax to Government because we have children. We pay many taxes and insurances like tax property for house, gasoline tax for travel to work, companied our boys to doctors, health insurance, household insurance, etc. etc. The tax officer work out on our annual spending (something for family, not luxury spending) like daily travel to work, accompany children to doctors, school material, trips, house and garden etc. to aviod to pay extra taxes... then we are able to get it back due our annual spendings. At your situation, I don´t understand because you both bought a house at few months ago and need a lot of renovation work with materials cost, and pay tax property, have family, travel to work, etc. It would be understandable if you earn $150,000or more salary per annual.

Yes I aware because it does the same here in Germany as well. I explained Shel90 why her post got me confused.

We have three classes, lower class, middle class and upper class. Upper class do not get tax rebate because they do not need it since they made too much money. Lower class are people who living in poverty and they are the one who suffer most especially right now with gas price so high and hurt so many businesses around here. As for middle class, yes we are hurting too because of high gas and we do not go out and buy stuffs. Alot of small businesses suffer right now. Presdient hope to give us some money to help those business. oh well.

What criteria do you use to decide the classes?

Side note:

When I was growing up, my mom taught me that "class" was determined by behavior, not income.

I learned about those classes in school, not sure if I learned in high school or in college. And president Bush said something few months ago, wealthy people are not getting tax rebate. Are u saying wealthy people are not "upper class"?
