OMG!!! don't you read big news that EU have fined M$??????? It is all about what I have tried to explain!!!! Proof is out there, and now M$ is playing games with EU judge like they did back in USA.
Another hard proof, what happened to Netscape? It used to be number one browser, and M$ screwed Netscape big time because Netscape refused to sell their business to M$. Now Netscape is long gone because of greedy Bill Gates!

But M$ may be out of luck because EU judge aren't as lenient as in USA!

OMG yourself. I ASK YOU.

Here:

but don't you know that AOL have to PAY to M$ to get AIM working with their OS?

Proof?

yea i understand what u mean about traveling with ur pda. it is good idea to try out that in mtns... yes there are bluetooth gps can work with any pdas such as 6700, 8125 or MDA. if u get that, you need 2mb mini SD for downloadable detail maps of USA or Canada( depend on what software you buy).

you can find more info - http://www.buygpsnow.com/gps-for-pocket-pc_1.html

be sure to get the bundle kit because it s more cheap than buying GPS and software seperately.

personally i like OnCourse GPS bundle.

ps: be sure u have extra battery bec bluetooth wud eat ur battery up quickly...

I have no idea what you talk about it. It's looks perfect CLEAR to me.

Don't you know when you want to write program to work with M$, you have to go to M$ campus, pay the fees to get their code given to you, then you work with that specific code... That is how M$ made so much money! They are now the wealthest in the world... Whadda you think where they get money from?

The proof is when your into software developer world and you will understand.

Dude, I wrote the programmer before. That's your point?

How about you?

Have you wrote programs that works with specific devices that involves drivers? If your just doing general programming then that is different. Im talking about writing drivers, doing some programming that involves hardwares in order to work with Windows. Like, modem, printers, wireless connectivity devices, so forth. That is where M$ is making money out of it... Where do you think M$ raked billions of dollars from?

For example Modem, you need to get code from M$ in order for you to work with them.

really it is not mine. i just lost in interesting in off topics.

i m interested to share wm5.0's stuffs with yall. that is all.

I have no problem sharing info. Just that I don't like seeing people sucker kissing rich people taking advantage of little guys like us.

I did ran into several problems. I decided to forget Wynd, then forget Blackberry, then SK2, now Im on PPC-6700. I was trying to find something that meets my needs, not others. In the beginning I had no problem with Blackberry until I start to use AIM more often, and trying to use online relay, that is where I ran into problem.

I haven't had any attempt to use online relay with my PPC-6700. That is my next step and I think it would meet my needs.

I try not to go off topic, but not easy sometimes. :)

i und, diehard... my agile messenger stays online on my pda everyday. i use agile messenger often to call hearings thur the ip-relay. i m happy with it. everything in my pda meets my needs especially direct push for emails acct. it is much better than having wm5.0's outlook to connect on to get emails and disconnect every min or 5 minutes. having the connection for email accts, it really drained my battery down. now my pda has direct push that doesnt need to connect to get or send emails. it quickly get emails within a sec or two sec. it does save 40% from draining. what more is that it comes with activesync. whenever you get or send emails, put new contacts, or mark the plans on the calendar, it automatically sync to your own outlook accts. that is what i have my own email acct under www.mail2web.com.

exchange server 2003 with direct push is a big rival of blackberry server.

if you are not sure about your device with wm5.0 that comes with direct push or not, you can find www.xda-developers.com to find which device that has direct push or ask tech support at your wireless carriers about that.

Too late...my thread got ruined and turned my thread into those who blame/bash Microsoft...

I wanted to have a good debate about Windows Mobile devices, but oh well...
You can't have a real debate without including those who hate Microsoft.

Interesting, Im not sure about this part and I do like faster e mail connectivity. One drawbacks I noticed is that my PPC draws too much power and drained battery considerable! The last time it drained just in matter of only 8 hours! WTF?
I checked the website and still lost with the concept of direct push. Care to elaborate?

Well OK...

I'm only discussing about the devices with Windows Mobile. I wasn't attracted to PalmOS or Blackberry because it made me feel like I'm running non-"Microsoft Windows" like Linux.
And WTF is wrong with THAT? Seriously, kid, WHY do you think Windows is an absolute good and eveything else is an absolute bad?
GraysonPeddie said:
When Microsoft Visual Studio 2005 got released on November 7, 2005, I really got attracted to Windows SmartPhone/PPC development and the ability to write either in C# and Visual Basic.net and deploying it to Windows Mobile 2003/5.0 devices.
You must be Bill Gates' son or best friend or something. Linux is one of the most programmable OSes out there. And you don't need to pay for that.

About Windows Mobile 5.0, I really like the looks of the user interface. Plus, if I have a job at a workplace where there's Microsoft Live Communicator Server, Microsoft Exchange 2003 (or better yet, 2007 when it ships next year), etc. it'll be great for me, as for keeping in touch with co-workers when I'm not in a workplace, like eating lunch, for example. I like Windows Mobile much better than Blackberry or PalmOS.
And of course you like the corporate control, right?

It's healthy for people to have choices when it comes to operating systems. It depends on the user's needs for setting up their computing platforms. Too bad the preponderance of Microsoft Windows as a household name molds the clients' thinking to the point that they don't think about alternative OSes. That and they're not interested in evaluating and experimenting with different OSes beyond using computers.

I'm a Mac OS X user here. If I had to use a PC again, I'd give Linux a try. :D

:gpost: I am mostly against Microsoft for making the world mostly Windows-based when, in my opinion, people should think about the choices more. Microsoft has been known to lie about other operating systems (esp. Linux and Mac) just to get Windows more popular. :ugh:
