Spells don't work. They never do. I've never actually seen them work either. Why do some of them work? It's because the victim usually knows about the so-called 'curse' and feel threatened by it. It's psychological. Suppose this gal told this guy that she was going to put a 'jinx curse' on him. Now, this guy has it on his mind... and it makes him do it in real life. He's probably gonna be looking around more (subconciously paranoid) and not watch where he's going... so he trips a lot. If it was at college, he's probably gonna be looking at his tray more and not at the table. So, he bumps into someone or places the tray on something that's already on the table. At the end, the gal can simply say that she removed the curse. If the guy feels that the curse really is removed, he'll feel better and subconciously be better. Heh!
