Yes, If you go strictly by the Bible, it discourages public nudity.
However there are very pleasant descriptions of the husband
wife relationship, I think in the Songs of Solomen, but I will
have to check the verse.
But, just as the Deaf culture is different than the Hearing
culture, ethnic cultures have different physical restrictions
and taboos, and even Christian denominations have developed
different cultural taboos.
For instance in Africa when you go there as a missionary,
you must be willing to accept that these people believe
top frontal nudity is totally the norm. Mothers nurse
babies topless in church, which was a real shock to
many missionaries.
The only thing thats not negotiable is the 10 commandments
as far as being a Christian goes. (Again that is my belief)
There was a really funny cartoon that had these two martians
standing together and they were holding people farms, (same
as ant farms). Each farm was labled with one church denomination.
Like, Baptists, Methodists, Lutherens, etc. The one martian says
to the other, "When you set up your earth farms, its really important
not to mix the different denominations or they will fight. But the
really strange thing is, if you don't mix them, they will subdivide
and fight anyway!
