I really feel for the family and friends , this happening on Christmas eve .

That mall is not very far from where I live...literally 5 minutes away. Have been there before too.

No Thank goodness it was not but when this first came on the news
it was reported one person was dead and I guess that turned out to be the shooter . I am glad no innocents people were hurt or killed . My title said 'Mall' shooting not 'mass' shooting.

I relieved that is not mass shooting like San Bernardino case.

It wasn't, because a bad guy with a gun was stopped by a good guy with a gun!

Gun law reforms would not stop this from happening, the guy already ignored existing laws such as atempt murder and assault with a deadly weapon. Only thing gun laws would have done is disarmed the person who shot the criminal. In this case it was an off duty chip but could have easily been Joe citizen.
