Another aircraft grounded after hitting bird

Yes it does the same with train and car as well, no matter either slow or speed but the birds or animals come suddenly unexpectly. :(

Eagles almost hitted front of my car several times when I was on the countryside road....

Don't you know that there're many different kind of Eagles small to huge?

I'm not bird expert and don't know exact name of eagle, flies around countryside where I live... The color of eagle - very dark brown... and small... I estimate around 10 inches, they flies and stand on the field of countryside...

I found the link to compare the similar example of bird, they flies and stand around where I live but I don't know exact because there're many kind of eagles from smallest to huge. They are not big enough to prey toy dog or cat but mice or squirrel, maybe baby hare...

Jiro, I found right one in German website. That's exact eagle named Eurasian Buzzard. that's exact eagle almost hitted front of my car several times on countryside road, they like to fly low...

I found right name for eagle is Eurasian Buzzard in English website.

Or... the core of our planet has been disrupted and caused magnetic interference for the birds... leading the birds to go nuts.

i know ;) just like train can't stop either
but we need to figure out but still we are working on something to prevent from happening
 
I think the airplane engineers should add the small gun to shoot birds down during the take-off. :D

Birds hit both Hudson jet engines

US authorities have confirmed that birds collided with both engines of the US Airways flight that ditched into New York's Hudson River last month.

Samples from both engines have been sent to the Smithsonian Institute in Washington so that the bird species can be identified.

The engines did not appear to have prior problems, officials said.

All 155 passengers and crew of Flight 1549 survived the landing on the Hudson, which made headlines worldwide.

On Wednesday, the National Transportation Safety Board said an engine surge in one of the plane's engines two days before the crash was due to a faulty temperature sensor which had been replaced.

Both the US Airways Airbus A320's engines had passed inspections before the crash, officials said.

Flight data also showed there were no problems with the engines until pilot Capt Chesley B "Sully" Sullenberger reported hitting birds.

The right engine remained attached to the airliner when it hit the water on 15 January.

The left engine separated and had to be retrieved from the mud on the bottom of the river near where the jet ditched.

Flight data show both engines cut out simultaneously and the sound of thumps could be heard after Capt Sullenberger's reported approaching birds.

The plane had only managed to reach a top altitude of 3,200ft (975m).

The 155 passengers and crew were rescued from the sinking aircraft by boats. Capt Sullenberger was the last to leave after checking the plane for any remaining passengers or crew.

No, how about we put you duct tape onto the below of the plane and issue you a AK-47, flightsuit, and goggle, so, that you can travel for free? :D
