Buy 3 - 4 DVDs per month for few years. That was when few online stores sell much cheaper than retail stores but most of them closed or merged.. all left is few good online stores at animeondvd.com. Also there were few anime conventions in Berkeley, Los Angeles, San Francisco and other locations, they usually sell 30 - 50% off.

lol man. Why should I post the pictures that is not mine? If you buy 3 - 4 DVDs per month for few years, you will be surprised how much you have. I will post the manga collection soon.. I lately bought $120 worth of mangas per month (for three months so far, I think... this month will be my fourth), I don't realize how fast mangas filled up my new shelf. I will post the manga picture soon as possible as I finish with organizing and stacking up.

Steel, onfinite.com is a free image hosting service. To prove what onfinite is all about. Here's screenshot:

I don't have my own website at this moment... and I am way too lazy to subscribe the webhosting. Anyway, reason why I posted these screenshots because DVDs in first picture, shelves is now dismantled (that's why I didn't respond for an hour or so) and I plan to throw these old shelves out so I can get a new shelves build up and set it up.

magatsu, you're not the only one who has a lot of those...

someone else has a lot of them too on AD. :P

Yeah, you already saw these pictures before :P I'd like to see your friend's collection as well. Honestly, compare to people at animeondvd and others, they have much more than I have.

I decide to show the manga collection while I am organizing and stacking.. included my cat who seeks my attention at this moment. Here's pictures:

Steel and others, if you can see the anime boxset on most-right (second shelf). Here it is:

I am pissed off at one of stores who uses a lousy label on that DVD boxset but it costs me only $60 so I couldn't complain...

when you go out and buy more mangas, I recommand you to get "battle vixens" and "love hina".(both are from Tokyo Pop) they are pretty rad and hiralous as fuck. :D

Lova Hina is definitely my next manga to buy. I want to catch up with Vagabond (at this moment, volume 17) and I finally did that.. And I also want to catch up with GTO, Great Teacher Onizuka (my favorite manga, it is fuckin hilarious)... I am on 5 volume now, 21 to go *sigh*. Once I am done with GTO, I will start with Lova Hina!

Battle Vixens is new to me, I will check it out. Thanks for suggestion!

yeah I just started collecting "battle vixens" a couple months ago after I completed 14 volumes of Love Hina last summer (and it's a relief, really.)

the story is really heartwarming and more like real life and stuff because in most animes, there are always sci-fi stuff like people with super powers and androids and giant robots but "Love Hina" is actually different because of using "actual regualr" people, but still it's funny as fuck :P

Naura Naurasegawa sure kicks major arse when she finds Keitaro doing "pervert-like" things to her but he did it by accident and she always beats the living crap outta him lol oh...and Kitsune...she's awesome but kind of a sex freak too lol

oh that's right...the creator who did "Love Hina" is already working on "Negima!" and I just started collecting that the past summer after I finished collecting "love hina"...there's still tons to come! :P

of course, "battle vixens" is already on DVD as well but comes with a different title called "Ikki Tousen."

I think it means "thousands of army strenght" or something like that...eh anyway, I still haven't seen the DVD yet but wanted to download them sometime.

check at www.animenation.com for more details.

Yeah I watched the entire of anime series (Love Hina) a while ago (included Spring and Winter version). It is hilarious but some people said that manga is even more funnier than anime version so I want to give it a try.

About Negima, yeah I download the volumes a while ago, I believe.. I couldn't find anywhere in my computer. I will look for it later, is it licensed yet? I am bit behind on manga thingy lately.

About Battle Vixens, ok I will check it out. Thanks!

Sorry for not responding, I was thinking that I was the last one who posted in this topic.

Well, anime version is hilarious to watch. Volume one is sort of slow due to introduction and all. Love Hina - Christmas is my most favorite romantic anime to watch. If you have a girlfriend who likes or don't mind to watch the animes, rent or buy Love Hina - Christmas and watch together with her :)

DoVip, that's okay. I forgets to pm you about links. I will do that today, sorry about it.

Wow, you got bunch of anime DVDs in your hands!
I had Neon Genesis Evangelion Perfect Collection DVD. I planning to buy two NGE movies to complete my collection. Other anime movie I owned is Special Edition Gundam Wing Endless Waltz.

I have questions for Anime lovers.

everytime I tried to buy dvds.. it comes with no Closed captioned >and< no subtitles (english or captioned).. so how did you get them?

(am trying to collect some for my man.. he is anime lover too)..

erm...if you dont own DVDs with a region 1 code, then I guess there's no way that English closed captioning or subtitles would show...

Here check out mah collect

You can check out mah anime collect DVD i take pic recently but i know it's hard to see of pic

I don't know why my first picture is broken (that picture have lot and lot of anime titles). I checked the url and everything, it works fine but not now. I already contacted the onfinite about it. Cool about Endless Waltz! That will be valuable collection in the future. I plan to buy Neon Genesis Evangelion Platinum soon. I have these 'regular' Neon Genesis Evangelion and plan to sell these thru ebay because I want to get the Platinum series. Jeez, I am a anime dork at this moment!

Hmm? At least 95% of anime titles are subtitled (in english). Pardon my 'nosy' question but where did you or your man bought these animes from? Can you tell me few titles that you or your man bought? So I can find out if these titles do or do not have the subtitles.
