Amy Fisher

Amy was teenager that's time. She accept her mistake and punishment. What's your problem? I would be very disgust and consider judge as murder if they judge teenager to death sentence.
It wasn't murder because the victim didn't die. Amy was not eligible for the death sentence.

I guess trying to kill someone is OK as long as the perp says, "Oh, oh, my bad, sorry about that."

Yes, she served her time, and I'm NOT saying society needs to continue "punishing" her. What I AM saying, I think it is strange how people now think pre-meditated (planned) attempted murder is just a "mistake", like a widdle boo-boo. There doesn't seem to be much concern for the victims and their shattered lives.

Our world has definitely flipped upside down; now people care more about the criminals than the victims.

I don't think it as a "mistake" - because Amy was thinking and planned it for a long time!!

Amy had this "obsessed" with killing Joey's wife, You know that the power of love can make people do stupidity, She was only 16 years old who was not yet an adult. She made a bad judgement call, She lived up to her mistakes she paid her dues, What more do you want? It was a mistake that gone bad, and Joey got away with a charge on having sex with a minor. I don't see anyone bashing onto Joey, But, Amy? When she paid her dues? Lots of stupid things are done in the name of love, her love for Joey, she only wanted MaryJo to be out of the picture, she never meant to shoot her like she stated. Joey never told the truth to the society, Amy did. Who do you trust? Amy or Joey? You decide. ;)

That's not quite true at all, what some of us are saying here is that she paid the price, and she made a mistake but she doesn't deserves to keep being punished for the mistake she did when she was younger...

As Jesus say, we must learn to forgive and forget those who hurt us, so I think it's time for some people to wake up and start forgiving by letting the past go...

One thing is I´m glad that the court didn´t give her death penalty for her one mistake.

Why would they afterall she didn't murder his wife, so therefore she doesn't deserves the death penalty..

:gpost: Teenagers make a lot of mistakes but I´m glad that Mary Jo is survived. If she died then Amy will punish to death sentence... It´s scary because of that mistake, Amy made out of her love for Joe.

They gave Joe 6 month sentence for sex with a minor.

.

Amy! I will buy her book.

Yes I know.

I only picture myself what if MaryJo died... MaryJo is very lucky to be survived. It´s scary to see that teenagers put to death sentence because of their mistakes... You know that a lot of teenagers made a lot of mistakes... they do not deserve to death because of this. You can image Amy would of punish to death if MaryJo is dead. Scary...

yea true i agree with u!

It was a miracle that Mary Jo survived, But, you know who was the stupidity one in the whole situation before? Mary Jo, because she stood by her husband who denied the affair, later she finally saw the light and divorce him, He isn't worth anyone's time of the day. :giggle:

If Mary Jo died, Amy will not get the death penalty because she was not eligible due to her age.
