What kind of Amusement Park rides do you like the most and which ones you like the least?

Which Amusement Park that you have gone to that you would recommend to your friends or family? And Why?.....

Let's have Fun!

For myself, I loveeeeeeeeeeee Rollercoaster rides!! And the least one I dislike is ferris wheel or any slow rides that put me to  heh!

We have Six Flags Amusement Park ( mins away from my home ) and Cedar Point ( an hour away or so )

I LOVE amusement parks and roller coasters, especially scary ass ones. Six Flags is awesome, but the lines are a pain in the butt! You wait 2 hours for a 45-second ride sometimes, and it makes me wonder if the wait is worth it. My idea - go to Six Flags when the weather man predicts light rain...then when it starts raining, head for the bigger attractions so that the lines are shorter. Hey, if you're lucky, you might get to ride three or four times before people catch on! ;)

here in minnesota. we have amusement park called "Valleyfair"

i really love their roller coster once they began open it called 'wild thing' it was built couple years ago and made the USA most fastest and highest roller coaster.. till few years later after valleyfair's rollercoaster open, some other roller coaster beat it. anyway its fast and fun.. but its not fun when its rainy cuz it hurts :squint:

i like ferris wheel if i had a woman with me and its nice to just sit and chat.. romantic :D and water park rocks if its a sunny hot day :D

2 hours and 1/2 away from my home area.. which it's called "Canada Wonderland" nearby Newmarket, Ontario.
And also 2 hours and 1/2 away from another location in Toronto, "The CNE" as The X fairgrounds"
Mostly I preferable to go at Canada Wonderland because there have awesome wild Rides mostly and also new attractions roller coaster every year and plus waterpark too. Quite expensive to admission but worth it to go. :)
We'll planning to go Canada Wonderland on July of 1st wk.

Espically in London, Ontario called "The Western Fairgrounds" always opening for Fun Fair on August middle of week til September 3rd that is it. That place is sux but good suitable for children(s) loves to ride. Espically hate expense on more more ticket to buy for rides.. I'd rather Canada Wonderland best because paid at the once and everything rides are free.. BUT.. hate expense foods quite EXPENSIVE.. (chuckles)

I love the wild thing.. I used to hate roller coaster rides because i hit my front teeth on the bar when I was younger (at the state fair, their kiddie ride.) But I like ValleyFair a lot. Im saddened I cannot go to Deaf Day at ValleyFair this year. :( Deaf people ususally congregate at the Water park and it becomes hard to find people once they start having a line for people to go in the park :(

hmm i'm planning on going to 6 flags in chicago for deaf day ... will be my first time be in chicago 6 flags :D

Six Flags Great Adventure rocks! I had season passes for that theme park, and I loved going on Superman, Batman, and so on. Ahh, I miss New Jersey for a few things, such as this theme park!

I think its in June but not postively sure, I'm behind myself...haven't been to the deaf club for quite a long while now, once I do find out Ill let you know...I know what you mean, there are times I am unable to go, since they do pick out a day that doesn't fit into my schedule meaning I am not free heh

My hubby already went to Cedar Point, OHIO.. and told me love it..Before I met him long years ago he went with his friends along to Cedar Point. He will take me and to go OHIO when on our anniversary by July 7th perfect timing because his work will be on holiday.. Would be beneifts for us and to go there Cedar Point.. Hopefully the weather is permit for us to go. :) Unless, We'll let our kids can go there if depend my kids are behave as well.. (chuckles)

I adore rides! I LOVE roller coasters, and fast rides in particular. I do like Swings of the Century.

Umm, I have been to Seaworld, Canadaland and the amusement park in the West Edmonton Mall.

At the West Edmonton mall, I went on the roller coaster 5 times or so in one day. People thought I was crazy

I have hear of Six Flags and Cedar Point. It sounds cool!

Malfy, what did you think of Coney Island?

I noticed none of you said anything about Disneyland nor Disneyworld. How come is that?

I shall have to get my fix by visiting these amusement parks whenever I come to the US :D

Another amusement parks I have gone to:

Kings Dominion (VA): Not too bad!
Busch Gardens (VA): They have cool rollercoasters and themes
Busch Gardens (FL): Cool Africa theme plus some cool rides, but not too big
Disney World (FL): Can't really remember much, I was only 8 that time, but I do remember the haunted house ride. Loved it.
Morey's Piers and Mariner's Landing (NJ): Piers packed with many awesome rides. I miss it.
Some Volkfests in Germany: They had several when I was in Germany. I loved riding the rides in Germany because they were less strict with seat belts and stuff. No frivilous lawsuits in Germany! ;)

Is anybody here afraid of amusement parks, because of all the news stories we’ve been hearing lately about people flying off the rides and getting killed?
