Nobody else gets to use the plane so I guess it is his plane.

Actually Shel--it is your plane--just like the house he is occuping. :)

Air Force One is reserved for the Commander in Chief. It is the plane of only the president who is serving.

So he should be able to say "my plane."
 
I always say my plane. Like you know, if you're at the airport I tell someone "yes, my plane was on time."
 
when the President is on the plane, then the callsign Air Force One will be use. If others are using the plane for any reasons, then other callsign can be use.
