Hello Everyone! :wave:

As some of you know, I created a new community at Hearing Aid Forum - AllHearing.com a while back, and it didn't do very well because it was running on a forum software that was lacking features (made it harder for me to run it effectively) and then it got hit by a wave of spammers. It was abandoned for a while, but now it's BACK!

Interesting, we are effectively segregating our community. I'm wondering if this is a good idea? It can have benefits, but will it cause more division?

It's a website for people to talk about their hearing loss. No segregation there? :dunno:

We can be on both forums. I mean, some of us are deaf, w/o our HAs, and hearing, w/ our HAs.

Yes, I know we're deaf all the time and use HAs to help us hear.

Yes, and I will be on both because I like the people here, but perhaps it might deter new hard of hearing members to this site.

One of the reasons I have not posted on the a different site after the last exodus is that I feel we are stronger united than divided. And, I've not seen any real threads there that have not been debated here. We still get away with a lot on this than we would on others.
 
no, there is a dividing line. those cherish to hear should go there, those cherish to sign language go to all Deaf...
its more peaceful that way
