Allergies? Fluid in your Ear?

Big day.... ENT appointment in the morning... I will be updating.

So.... just got done with my ENT appointment. The doctor checked my ears, looked at my report, my MRI, and told me there's no fluid or anything stuck in my ear. He strongly believes I'm having some kind of neurological issue of some sort... :( History maybe repeating itself.

So whats next? back to the Neurologist next month with my blood work results and to come under some kind of conclusion.

Deja vu? Ugh. Good luck with the neurologist! Hopefully they will figure out what is going on soon.

Thanks Dixie, I'm beyond frustrated and exhausted in finding answers. Hopefully I get something next month. I need closure... I can deal either or but I just want some damn closure!

Dang! At least the ENT believes it's a neurological problem, so it helps narrow down the search, doesn't it?

Keep us updated.

Anyone got theories? would love to hear them.

Yes that does narrow it down quite a bit. Both drs thinks MS is unlikely. But they both believe its linked to how I lost hearing in my right when I was 5. Sooo, that could mean I have some kind of neurological disorder/disease thats dominate.

And yes, I'm making a light of the situation because its all I can do to keep my sanity stable lol.

Would this be worth a trip to House Ear Institute in LA for their opinion?

Or to call them and ask them for a referral to someone more local to you who is good at diagnosing unusual hearing loss? You could tell them that your current physicians think it may be a side effect of a neurological condition that they haven't diagnosed yet.

Ok guys update:

Sept. Tuesday the 13th I have my Neurologist appointment... the moment I've been freaking waiting for. I will have answers then.

in just a few hours... my neurologist appointment is scheduled... hopefully I'll have some answers. I'm scared but I need this closure. Cross your fingers for me guys!

Blood work is clear. No answer to my hearing loss or the lesions in my head. My options were either a 2nd MRI or spinal tap. I choose the MRI First.... wont see the Urologist again til Jan....
