The most powerful alarm clock I had was a mains powered clock with an inbuilt flashing strobe light along with a vibrating pad that connected to the clock with a long wire. You had a choice of sound, light and vibration (or two of the three) to wake you up. It could also be connected to your phone so if the phone rings while you're asleep, it will trigger the alarm clock as well.

I've been looking around for a super-loud or vibrating alarm clock... does anyone know of any stores that carry them? I could get one online but I prefer to shop in stores if possible.

I live in SW Ohio.

:ty:

See I can sleep in the light no problem... I do not wake up with just a standard light... Yes the sun is free, but if it doesn't do you any good then its not working. I've tried the flashing light clocks, and those don't work for me, I just turn over...

I guess your body isn't understand the UV and probably you required an unhealthy energy drinking or something to keep you wake up!

electric shock apparatus attached to your toe, and the clock being direct across the room.

LMK, I can make you one. Can't guarantee health safety though.

No i don't drink energy drinks... my body, once its awake I have no problems... its just getting it up. If there is light while i'm asleep, like the street lamps from outside, I get a migrane the next day... but my new alarm clock is wonderful!
