Well; they did an autopsy on Sean Bell, and he was shot 4 times in the neck and torso.
I'd look at all sides of the issue, accusing the incident as simply racial doesn't fit well with me. What if the majority of the shooters did not intend it as racial, but just scared stupid, high anxiety, expressing an emotion from an earlier experience, or perhaps the caliber of the cop's bullet isn't sufficient to disable this person? I don't buy everything the media throws at us, they are only concerned about what sells.
I know Jillio, it's misleading information, because really the police fired 50 rounds into the car, not at a person or one man. I think the title came from Reverend Al Sharpton's mouth and I agree with Wokamuka that Reverend Sharpton is playing the race card to the extreme.
Looks like the cops' bullets disabled him well. He's dead. And police officers are supposed to be trained not to react out of emotion and fear. That's why they are permitted to carry guns. Because their training is supposed to make them capable of remaining level headed.
The point is to disable, but unfortunately was swiss cheesed to death. Each cop should answer for this individually, they can't dismiss the whole seen or precinct as racial.

These are the men responsible for both the title and the wording of the article. How is Sharpton playing the race card, exactly?
Those two are just writers that works for the press, Reverend Sharpton does talk to the media. You need to do a research on Sharpton, You'll see how he does play the race card.
I don't think anyone is trying to dismiss the whole precinct as racial. They are protesting the equittal of the cops responsible for the shooting.
Are you for real? Some reporters are lazy and do not report all the accurately. Some would twisted the words to make it more interesting to grab the attention of readers, Some reporters do not tell us the whole entire story, we might hear one-side of the story. Some reporters stretch the truth.I doubt seriously that these reporters wrote a nationally released stroy on Al Sharpton's say so. That would be a great way to loose their job. They are responsible for the wording of any story that bears their name, as well as for doing proper research before publishing the story.
That's your opinion.I've been following Al Sharpton for years. I still don't see how he is playing the race card in this instance.
Hmmm...my point, someone knows something more.

Good riddance. :roll:If they are writing for the National Enquirer, maybe. But this was not a tabloid rag.
Good riddance.
How do the writers and editor get their story? from people, press conferences, and interviews.
