Airbus crashes in French Alps; 150 dead

I getting a ferry instead..i know accidents everyday but trains and cars you got a chance airoplane that's it and terror must be awful.
it been implied it high jack but I would thought they be bragging about it.Piolet having heart attack but I would thought some way getting back in cock pit and auto piolet
any how ferry train and bus from now on
may they rip

I am going to get a horse and buggy !

I will stay on the back ground roads there is less traffic and more places to rest a horse.

It's the back roads where the Amish get hit, and killed, because of the crazy fast drivers who don't know to slow down for hills and turns. I like to drive fast on the back roads, but always slow down where I can't see what's ahead.

So, now that everyone is avoiding flying, I guess I don't have to worry about having seat mates on my next flight. :D

The co pilot took time off for depression and burnout at one time. I just saw this channel 5 news . Someone said this was a red flag when asked by a reporter. I wonder if the guy computer is going and cell phone is going to part of the investigating too.

One person's depression and burnout could be another person's full out nervous breakdown. :dunno:

I wonder if the guy computer is going and cell phone is going to part of the investigating too.
Oh, yes, I promise, they are.

I will be flying in May so yea, I am with Caz ...it makes me nervous but then again as LoveBlue pointed out..there are car accidents daily so ....

and train accidents too.

Traveling is soooo DANGEROUS!

RIP to the passengers

Every time you drive a car, you are always at a risk. True fact.

Ok, the co-pilot was locked out, and they are not releasing the pilot's name.

:hmm:

Correction: The captain was locked out, NOT the co-pilot.

The cop pilot name and photo has been on news and posted here too on # 36 my post and someone else posted it too.

He was (cough, cough) probably on (gag, hack, cough, cough) psychotropic drugs (barf, gag, fart, cough cough).

This mass murder/suicide reminds me of a guy who loses his family thru divorce so he kills them all, then himself. His rationale (faulty) is that, "If I can't have them, no one can."

If for some reason, the co-pilot was going to lose his job or ability to fly, he might have been thinking that way. "I can't fly anymore, so no one else can either." By crashing the plane he not only kills 149 other people, he hurts the industry that he perceives to have hurt him.

Just tossing that out there. Obviously there is no forensic evidence for that yet.

Yes, Reba, that's where my thoughts went too. How terribly devastating!!

http://www.whdh.com/story/28631739/co-pilot-may-have-hidden-illness-german-prosecutors-say

Prosecutors say co pilot may had his hidden illness from the airline , I also heard that after the guy took leave he was not given mental health evaluation when he came back to work . The co pilot only had one mental health evaluation when he being hired . I think anyone flying a plane should be required to have a mental health evaluation more than time.
If he wanted to dies so badly he could gone and buy a gun or rent a small plane and crash it into a mountain and not kill over 100 people ! 16 people were only 15 16 yo . :(

Lufthansa said it will introduce new rules requiring two crew members to be in the cockpit at all times.

:( Yeah after over 100 people where killed , there always should had been 2 people in the cockpit at all time , encase some had a medical emergency .
