After or Before

:slap: No you got the dates wrong. I decorated two days before Halloween, pulled down the Halloween lights and put up the Christmas decorations the same day before Halloween. Yawp, I'm a Christmas fanatic!!

(I think hubby's embarrassed... heh heh!)

wow, Aghori is your hubby... Hi Aghori...

Yes, me, too... I'm Christmas freak... :giggle: I love to decorate 4 season a year...

I don't decorate Xmas at my place except Xmas wreath on my front door.

speaking of that... I might do them this weekend on the porch and exterior, as it gets closer to the holidays it is either too cold, raining...ect... The lights arent really that noticeable anyways until lit. We stocked up on decorations last year after the season with all the clearance items... I need to run 2 exterior outlets as well on the porch.

Not until the second week of December. I like to keep my special days separate. I decorate for Thanksgiving/Fall in November. Around Dec. 1, I "neutralize" my decor to separate the seasons. Then, Dec. 8 is TCS's birthday. After that, I begin decorating for Christmas. I usually can't do much decorating until the end of the school semester, around mid-December. TCS is in charge of outdoor lighting, so he sets his own schedule for that. :)

None of the above ... its just me so I don't put anything up for Christmas or anything else.

I typically like to wait until after Thanksgiving to start putting up Christmas stuff.

Wow, six years ago...

Since then we got old.

Now we just have a little bird house in the front yard display with a little red hatted gnome standing in front. In December it has a battery operated light strand that makes it a miniature of a decorated home.

And then my Hannukah Giraffe and Christmas Puppy sit in the living room that month.

Food of the season is more important than decoration to me.

I know.. 6 yrs went too fast.. wow.

Gnome is pretty POPULAR now. it sounds adorable.

If I choose to do this before Thxgiv'g, I will never have time. Now, this time I bought a smaller one much lighter n' easier for me to get ready right after Dec or end of Nov if I'm not exhausted.

Definitely after. I always have a sad feeling when Halloween/Thanksgiving is about to over due to "orange" colors which is my favorite color. All I think is next chapter would be red/green due to Christmas

I don't put up xmas tree because I live alone. I go away for a week to visit my family for Christmas every year.

I keep it minimal and simple. Before leaving for Thanksgiving back home, I take down a storage box and place a small pre-decorated tree on the bar and window mantle. Then I spread around christmas themed containers of treats. Suits me fine, since I'm always somewhere anyway...
