Do you do decorate christmas lights and decorations before thanksgiving or after thanksgiving? :fruit:

I usually decorate after thanksgiving because it would not be thanksgiving if the Christmas decorations were already in beforehand. That's just how I am. If anyone wants to decorate Christmas stuffs before thanksgiving, It's all good. :)

I agree with Jolie, but some people decorate earlier because decorations is fun and last a little more entertainment with lights around their house. White Christmas anyone?

Normally after Thanksgiving but this year--no decorations are going up due to the fact that we are in the process of moving....

But am exchanging Christmas cards with fellow AD'ers. :)

I started light on my desk last week. This week I will set up Air Santa and Snowman. This weekend We all are going to Christmas Tree Farm! :)

My wife is Xmas freak so she decorated the Christmas much early like 2nd week of November.

:slap: No you got the dates wrong. I decorated two days before Halloween, pulled down the Halloween lights and put up the Christmas decorations the same day before Halloween. Yawp, I'm a Christmas fanatic!!

(I think hubby's embarrassed... heh heh!)

i put out christmas decorations and a christmas tree in my apartment the day after thanksgiving. christmas used to be my mother's favorite holiday, so i've followed in her footsteps by going "all out" when it comes to decorating my apartment. it's something i happen to enjoy alot.

Mr Bucket and Aghori are married? In AD? That's rare, we don't see many married couples around here.

I started already. I have a bear with moose antlers and a Christmas sweater in my living room.

After Thanksgiving will put out more.

I'm setting up my xmas decorations and tree tomorrow..

I leave it up all year long. That way I don't have to put it up and take it down.

When I was growing up and adult in USA, my parents set up the christmas trees and the trimmings in the bush and city two or one week before Christmas. Now I am in Canada and Thanksgiving was over in October 13 and we are not too keen on Halloween but we do that too anyway. Today I am setting up my christmas tree and decorations up early right now in almost close to the end of November. I am crazy about christmas, but not crazy about shopping for christmas as I don't know what to get for family and friends. :hmm:

(Off-Topic) No; it's not rare. There are other married couples on AD, such as (Levonian and Mayflower), (Angel and Roadrunner) , (BabyHornyBrat4 and Handsome_Smiley) , (Toolsman and Peachylady), (Diehardbiker and Lake Tahoe) I'm sure there's more.

Will be putting up the Christmas tree in December. :)

I decorated Halloween at home begin week of October until last weekend... (check the pictures of Halloween decoration at my thread) and will decorate Xmas decoration this weekends. The tree will deliver to shops 1st or 2nd week of December.

I'm start to exchange Xmas cards with some ADers this weekends... ;)
