Have any of you adopted? Is the process always incredibly difficult? Is it ever affordable? My husband and I would like kids, but I feel as though by the time we're ready, it might be too late to have our own. I've been seriously thinking about adopting an older child one day when we're ready.

My Husband and I have adopted our two children through a private adoption agency.(we are deaf) There is a lot to say about the process and it can be expensive. If you would like to know more about this, please let me know. It's too much to say in writing. I could arrange a chat with you. However, adoption through a public agency and an older child is a lot more affordable, in fact I think there would be very little cost for you
