Is there? I did a search and looked in several different threads - but didn't see it...eeps. So sorry for the :repost:

MODS: could you either merge it or delete it if it's unnecessary to merge this to the other thread? Thanks and forgive me for this blunder. :o

....tip toes into this thread and looks around -- I'll have to apologise for a blunder I did earlier today...I posted about Jonathan's suicide and I SWEAR I did a search in here for a thread, but didn't find it...eeps!....please don't hurt me!.....runs..........

BTW, on a serious note -- it's a tragedy that Brandis killed himself at such a young age. He caught my eye and had an interest in his filmography background. He did Stephen King's 'IT' as Stuttering Bill Denborough....and several other films as well.

RIP Jonathan Brandis

I not know about his death til WaterRats13 explains and now I understand how he dies. That is much better than frist tread- :ugh: Dang! He is so popular and so young to be die!

......at first i thought you were talking about that red-haired chubby guy from the Ladybugs... wait he was in another soccer movie... urrh.... Green Goat? ah, whatever, Waterrats put that picture up and now I know who he is- er... was. I was surprised... i remembered I adored him when I was young when he was in Neverending Story 2 :ily:

Yeah...such a pity for the loss of a good person -- he had so much potiential of a good and solid career in film. I loved his startling blue eyes.

About time! CNN announced his death --> http://www.cnn.com/2003/SHOWBIZ/TV/11/21/obit.brandis.ap/index.html

It really sad. I've thought about him a couple of weeks ago out of blue wondered where was because I haven't seen him on any of TV shows/movies. Even though I forgot what his name was. I liked him in Neverending Story 2 and The LadyBug. I can't believe he had to kill himself, so young, so waste. May Jonathan rest in peace and find his happiness.

Also found out http://www.findagrave.com had too many hits on Jonathan Brandis and vaulted him to the top 1st spot in searching for him.

Oh shit that reminds me I just happened to be watching the movie "IT" during the weekend that he died. Weird timing aint it eh? (I ought to throw in the fact John Ritter was in the same movie as Brandis was! plus I just found out John Ritter's mother just passed on on the 5th November 2K3-too many weird concidences on the deaths associated with the movie "IT" this year)

 Huh oh, it must be the curse coming from the 'Poltergeist'!

I was just thinking the same thing -- similar trait to the Poltergiest cast...first it was Dominque Dunne and then Heather O'Rourke...then that evil possessed 'priest' and the healer lady (can't remember her name, but she was really short)
So far, the rest of the cast all are still alive -- JoBeth Williams, Craig T Nelson (met him in 1990 and again in 1991), Nancy Allen (out of RoboCop and Carrie - a very nice person), Tom Skerritt...

I also checked the cast of 'IT' -- only 2 have died -- John Ritter and Jonathan Brandis. Emily Perkins' (young Bev Marsh) is 23 and is in a strange movie called, 'Ginger Snaps' -- no idea what the plot is all about, but here's a link to her bio: Emily Perkins - TVTome

All others are still around -- especially Richard Thomas who lost 50% of his hearing in both ears and wears those micro tiny hearing aids and sponsors this company 'Better Hearing'.
