TOF

Not to mention smoking parents wonder why their children come down with lung ailments such as asthma. I believe children of smokers have a higher incidence of respiratory infection as well.

This is another good reason to quit smoking. If you won't quit for yourself, then quit for the sake of your child's health!

Second hand smoke is worse than being a smoker, because when you smoke it takes out A LITTLE of the bad stuff with the filter.

Japan is the WORST country for smoking, you can smoke almost anywhere, even on the fancy trains. They have like 12-16 cars per train, and about 5 or more are smoking. But still, you can smell the smoke from the vents.

Where are you from again? Sorry for being lazy to go thru intro section.

I am from Ontario...

That is interesting, they banned smoking in public areas like train, bus, etc etc, and that stuff like 10 or 15 years ago then malls were banned hmm i have no clue, now everywhere which is bars, resturants, and stuff..

I remember once i went to hmm, i think gallaudet trip with my classmates, me and one friend are smokers out of all (i know i know shhh dun go nagging me!) anyway our group went to mall and we were walking around all the sudden i smell smoke, i was like huh?? smoking inside?? so me and friend grab oppunitiy to smoke for experience cuz we never done that before (smoking in mall) lol.

I never smoke. I try one time but I don't like it because it's taste awful. I'm glad I'm not smoker and I don't have to worry about my lungs or health. I know several people who died at early age around 50s because of heavy smoking. I have a friend of mine who is a smoker and I'm trying to get him quit. Hopeful.

I used to smoke for 10 years, then quit in my 20's. Now I'm paying for it at age 44..with asthma and allergy. It is not worth it and I wish I never smoked in my life. Smoking is addictive, but is possible to quit...look at me. I quit about 20 years ago. Now both my oldest daughters smoke and it breaks my heart because later on, their health may be affected. I have tried to tell them, beg, ask them, etc...to quit and they do want to quit "when time is right" :tears:

I was smoker for 10 years and quit for a year and 11 months. I felt and breath and taste better. Now my allergy buggin me sometime but I get used to it. Like kuifje75 said in Utah Banned law. I know some people have hard time to quit and I don't blame them. I notice Cig price went up often. So I can safe my money for gas! Now it cost me to fill up $34 to $36 to fill up on my Blazer. But I am getting used to it.
