About closing threads..

.. darn I couldn't be here for one day and what happens.
the most interesting thread is closed, and yet again we will never reach conclusion, something I feel majority of us was about to achieve.
The reason of frequent flare-ups is because we don't have chances to air our differences to THE END.

If some people are not pleased with what's going on in the thread - don't read it! give others the chance to finish their arguments.

I placed this here because it's related to the closed thread, yet another.

Unneccessarily, IMO.

That's why I've decided to just step out of the debates, and just stick with the positive CI moments, and other non controversial threads. Its not worth the stress trying to argue. Nothing will ever change, and nobody really needs the aggravation they find in these endless debates that always seem to turn into the same merry-go-round

May I point out you followed my EVERY STEP, even in those posts that didn't concerned YOU in the least?

I thought you didn't care about me anymore? and yet you are the ONLY one who replied to my post, and look how fast!

No bickering, name calling , or insults here!!!! This thread may get closed so can we try to refrain from all that? If someone says something that seems offensive, maybe ask the person if that was intented to be offensive and if the person still doesn't respond in a more postive maner, then maybe just ingore that one person for the remainer of the thread? I got a little tired ofall that this week.
 
The thread was getting to no-where to the point, The argument was only going around the circle.

just my two cents.
 
What's the original point to this forum? To help each other or satisfy insecure egos?

Nah..just to help everyone forget and forgive. :) bring more positveness rather negativeness into this forum.

Agreed. It really was spinning out of control and just ended up as ongoing bickering about who insulted who. It didn't do anyone's arguments any favours.

There were a few good contributions though but it's sad that they got drowned out by the cat fights.
 
I'm glad that thread was closed for now, it gives everyone a chance to cool down, if we had agree to disagree nicely, then the thread wouldn't have been closed in the first place....

I know and I somehow get caught up in it despite my efforts not to. Oh well.
 
I agree I'm glad some threads are closed. It does seem that the debate enters threads and takes away the meaning from them. It just seems that several people want to argue no matter what the topic is. It so just make one thread and cut and paste the same arguements there.

Yeah. I really don't like getting into cat fights even when I have a lot of passion for a subject.

We have to face sometimes and accept negatives and postive on both sides. I will never beleive if there´re positive on CI side all the time. I need negatives and positive on both sides.

I don't like it either, deafskeptic. It serves no productive end. But just because I don't like it doesn't mean I don't allow it to happen. Sometimes restraint is next to impossible to practice in the face of insult. Mea culpa!
