A Thread About Absolutely Nothing! Part III

durable cell phone? get RAM X-Grip mount. I use it for my motorcycle.

Will that work for bicycles, too? Just wanting to know. It sounds promising, but I want to be sure first, though, before I do go and buy it. Keep in mind that I ride bike paths all over the city, and many of them are rough. I need something that would hold my cell phone firmly in place, and won't get lost.

They may or may not. Either way, there is one thing I know I need-- a durable cell phone holder. They just may have what I'm looking for.
I think they have them there cell mounted holder

That's what I figured. I'll probably stop by and see what they have. I'm not too fond of digging in my pockets or bag for my phone to take pictures of wherever I may be. That is why one is needed (actually two, one for each bicycle). I'll get them, and put my mind at ease.

yes. if it can handle motorcycle, it can handle bicycle with ease.

All right. I'll take a look at those, then. Just need to find the time to get back to that store on LaSalle-- if I can find it, that is.

My 2014 year in photos (video) is coming up. I just had it downloaded to Photobucket, and hopefully it'll work.

It's been released, and it does work.

We took a lovely Christmas photo at the mall . 100 ft Christmas tree decorated and lights on it was evening .

I finally got something worthy:

I have a pair similar to these, excellent for using in winter for emails, texts, and picture taking. Cost wasn't too bad-- just under $18, and well worth it.

I have a toothache. :( Will call a dentist when I get home from work. It has been bothering me off and on for a month but I was so busy I didn't make it a priority. NOW it hurts!

Oooh, good luck with that, hope no expensive root canal or anything!

Thank you! I actually had a root canal/crown on that tooth exactly 8 years ago. I did some googling online this weekend and I see that root canals are not good for life. I had thought they were. I read the average lifespan of a root canal is about 10 years. So I get the feeling it is failing now and if I have to spend another $2k to do a new root canal/crown, I might just have them yank the tooth. It is the very last tooth on the top row, so you wouldn't even see it gone, anyway. I love my teeth, but .... I can let that one go!

I had my widsom teeth yanked 12 years ago..... took multiple shots of novacaine to numb my mouth. That, and the fact they had to use the drill on one of them made it downright unpleasant.

I was put under when I had my wisdom teeth pulled. I was 16. I had to have a bone retraction on my jaw so they did it all at once. It was not one bit fun as my jaw was wired shut after that. Could not eat for a week. Just liquids. It was done in an OR and not at the dentist office.
