The CTA Brown and Purple Line Express uses the top portion, while pedestrians and vehicles use the lower portion.

OK ! Now I know dogs are really kids dress as animals. I took Marty out to pee and he tried to eat an icicle off a bush. LOL! The icicle was too small for him to bite off. LOL!

:aw: that's cute. Speaking of icicles, I just went out to put up my Christmas wreath on the front door and had water dripping on my head, on my glasses, and down my back from melting icicles! That was uncomfortable.

I noticed that Alex has put the annual Christmas lights on AllDeaf. :)

Anyhow..... in a few hours, I'm going to take my recently replaced bicycle tube to the bike store, and get it inflated, and put it on my Mongoose bike. And that reminds me-- I need to look into getting the wiring for my brakes replaced at some point.

More of those downtown. Only problem is, a few are on Federal buildings, and those I can't take. Not with the MCC just down the street. I'll pass on that.
Don't they sell postcards of those in Chicago? You could start up a business. I would buy them, I like old-fashioned sceneries

Yes. At Union Station and O'Hare & Midway. Ogilive Transportation Center has them, too. Not so sure about LaSalle Street Station, however, as I've never been there. It's the only station I have not yet touched. And as for the Metra Electric/South Shore Lines, they have them there, too, and I know of a few stores throughout the city that sells those. In fact, one such store is right next to that wall-- just down the street from there.

Oh thank you very much. You were extremely exhaustive, I run no risk of getting lost. I just have to board a plane to Chicago first :D (I am in Europe right now :))

Actually you would. Reason why? Because there's no public transportation in that section. Used to be, though, until the CTA axed it a few years back. You would need someone knowledgeable to show you where it's at. That, and I used to live in that area nearly 10 years ago.

chicago first? and there is chicago second ? :D

I see what you did there. No, my username isn't from the City. Actually it was my blue Trek bicycle that inspired it. It's the exact same color as those Divvy bicycles that I see around here. That, and it IS Chicago Blue, hence my user name. The 2 is from my bicycle, as well.

So, I wonder whom I might ask for help should I end up in Chicago one day :)

You can always contact me. I can show you around, free of charge. Just make sure you're prepared for the elements here, as we do get wild weather here. I have been all over, and know the city quite well. The only exceptions are the South and West Sides. I avoid those areas at all costs, due to high crime there. I can show you as far as Michigan Ave, but no further than that.
