Awesome! Heard it was nothing like the classic or the book.

But again we are speaking of Tim Burton. :giggle:

Rainy here! not cold! Still in the 70s.

Actually... It's a Thunderstorm!! Been a while since I heard a good rumble! :).

Wirelessly posted

Today, its a bit overcast, no sun and a bit cooler.

It is sooooo nice and warm. Starting to get overcast. The temps will drop tmw...grrr!

Cloudy here and cooler than yesterday which was 67 degrees...today in mid 50's or so.

Still tired from being out so late 2 nights in a row but it was worth it. TheWriteAlex, BellaSorria, MissWinks, and their friends are cool people. I already had met Jiro and Alex in NYC when JClarke was visiting. My brother and his girlfriend told me this am that they were very nice people and that they had a great time with them too. :) I think everyone enjoyed chatting with my brother too.

Yeah, it was much darker than either the original or the book. But Johnny Depp did a wonderful job as the mad hatter, and it was full of dark humor and even had a little message about women being capable of being successful and happy without benefit of a husband.

It's official... I'm going to Hawaii instead of Europe next March. I'm mixed emotions. Mostly happy though. :)

Yup, the damp cold is the worst. This winter has been the coldest. Usually it just get cold at night in the winter months and warms right up during the day.

The humidity will clean out your sinuses! humidity does not bother me much.

Yup! Damn skeeters! They will tear you up if you don't know how to protect yourself.

Skeeters are the worst!! Those huge fire ants that can leave welts on your skin. The humidity and all that it wreaks can really mess with your allergies big time and the air pressure changes and really give a person with different types of brain related issues some real problems. My daughter is in agony whenever storms come in and only does well after they pass. Today, we've had all the wind and clouds with no rain, but she is in agony again. She's wishing we never moved back, but I have to remind her that this happened in Missouri as well.

What I really love is when it will rain in your front yard, but not in your backyard. :giggle:

I really want to see that movie. I love Tim Burton's stuff as well, and am anxiously awaiting the DVD.
