A Thread About Absolutely Nothing! Part II

Hey Botti or anyone else-

I'm not looking for anything specific just general thoughts. My son has "severe astigmatism" with "extremely pale pigmentation" in his eyes. His eyesight gets worse as time goes on and he usually gets new glasses every 6-12 months. The last few days including today, he has done a lot of work outside. He is wearing his sunglasses and also special safety glasses due to working with a chainsaw. These safety glasses go over his glasses and also are UV blockers in them. Right now he is a little concerned and luckily has fallen asleep due to his worry. He is noticing that he can only see 1/2 of anything. If I have him cover one eye, it's still just half of things and the other eye is the same. I have told him to let his eyes rest. He did rinse them out just in case there was anything in them. I told him that if it did not clear up by tomorrow, I would get him in to the eye doctor. I just wondered if anyone has heard of this before. He says it's a strip down the middle that's missing. He was focusing on just the word UMBRELLA and could only see the UM___LLA.

Heck no. :lol: Not going anywhere near lutefisk!!

Just yummy food that warms your tummy -- technically soul food is african, Jamaican, etc. Not even close to Swedish :)
 
I just wan to know where the hell spring went? It was nice a warm this time last week and today it feels like mid-December minus the holiday cheer. Gah.
 
I am thinking of visiting friends this summer in two different states :P
 
Just found out that my friend is pregnant with her 3rd and 4th child. Everyone thought she was playing an April's Fool joke on us but she knew about the twins and chose today to make the announcement. Very clever!

Both are girls and she already has 2 girls. Her poor hubby! LOL!
 
Sounds like he will be floating along in the Estrogen Ocean!!! :lol:

Thinking about the fact at work, I served a customer and she was someone from the neighbourhood whom I used to play and attended the same church with when we were younger! Haven't seen her since I was about 15. Gosh.....

He seems to have dislike for flavoured milk and icecreams but apparently loves to eat yoghurt and chocolate

It's gonna be near 70 degrees today and hoping rain won't last long today. My gf's dad might come and continue working on her van today.
 
Our big tree looks so bare and we still have to take the rest down. It means losing a lot of shade by the garage on the 2nd lot, but the tree is also contributing to the dead grass in the yard.
 
I hate it when I'm close to being done with a big paper and then I develop a sudden onset case of writer's block. Grr!

:shock: It was hot here as well but the funny thing was I wore a sweater to my friend's church as she said they keep it cool in there (I was shivering in the pew before my blood sugar episode) but when I arrived at my grandmothers house I was burning up and shed down to my t-shirt and still hot. I hate it when that happens.
