i made two bets with my coworkers on World Series. i picked Giants win World Series over Rangers.

im praying that Giants did, so that im rich and fame for just 5 minutes of World Series title.

Mentioned this in the dinner thread, hubby is in a lot of pain. He never took care of his teeth properly while growing up and my in-laws were always buying candy and sweets and such. They had $19,000 invested in his mouth before he was 18. Now, he is having such issues, that we are having to pull all teeth out and take care of infections and then get him full dentures. 3-4 weeks ago, he had 2 teeth pulled, this past Saturday, he got 10 pulled and now he has another 7 to go. Then we wait 2 months and his dentures will be ready. So, I get to cook soft foods and puree the meats for him. Such fun, NOT!

wow, I have inherited gum disease. and now have a partial denture in the front lower. I can kinda feel for you hubby. I hope after it's all taken care of he will be better. It's quite an adjustment having the denture. I have had mine for a year and I am still having difficulties chewing. But eventually I will get used to it.

Ouch! I just went to the dentist and got informed that I need to floss better. I guess I wasnt doing a good job before. :hmm:

and the worse thing was that I found out my dental insurance policy had changed and wouldnt cover me so I got stuck with a $700 dental bill. My hubby and I are appealing it. Cant get ahead...guess i will work 2 jobs forever!
