Rainy weather or not, it's the fact that in the U.K. there's more of what I like, there's more acceptance. I think Brits are generally more tolerant of things than the States is. Only downside is that it costs an arm and a leg to live over there. But should I ever find a way to move there, I wonder what the emigration process is.

I think I would love to retire there, but my ASL is bad enough. I don't think I would like to try to learn BSL.

I would like to travel around UK, but to live there? Umm, no, too bloody expensive and dreary compared to here.

Although, I must admit Aussieland is not getting any cheaper, but hey, we get good weather most of time.

Ya'll have been in a drought for quite some time though, at last check the grass has given away to dirt in some places, yes?

I would love to visit Aussieland. That's where my maternal grandfather's family is from. All over Aussieland from what I understand, though I'm not too sure. My mother still has a cousin there and all of her children and grandchildren, but I would still like to visit. Can't see it ever happening though.

I will totally stay in Florida as long as I can. I left for 13 years and that was 13 years too long in Missouri.
 
And that reminds me, I should send a card to Emma and Barb this year, I messed around and forgot about it last year, ack!

same! I love America and there's NOTHING like America. It has handful of different choices for people such as type of weather and terrain and diversity.
 
Now - Jiro - after all that cutting (and hopefully not the cheese :giggle:) what are you left with?
