My wife own Macbook Air for three years and I replaced the SSD 1.8" after her old HDD almost failed. Now her macbook Air 1.8Ghz is much quick than my Macbook 2.2ghz with HDD.

I like my 13" MacBook Pro, too.

Macbook air runs the exact same os as the regular macbooks. The difference that its light, thinner and basically slower and not for power users in mind.

Im gonna buy a faster 2.5" hdd for my Mac Mini someday and add more ram.
