Not to derail this thread, but I had this friend...

She was killed by a drunk driver 16 days after the end of that trip. I didn't know for several months... I thought she had been out of state on a job where she was out of cell range or away from computers. I never did get replies back, as I didn't know she was already passed on... This has been a rough month for me. The grief comes and goes, but does lessen over time.

This is what we are afraid of...
