a question about dog's habit.

Well, if it's somebodys dog is annoying you and you don't want to make a big deal about it with the owner, I assume they are a friend. Here is a tip.

Bring a small bit of pepper in your pocket. Just sprinkle a small bit were the dog is nibbling. Dogs hate pepper, he won't bother you again.

Oh right. most mailmen carriers have pepper sprays. One time, i didn't see the mailman carrier sprayed one of my friends dog. But I saw dog after it happened, and dog seems not to like it and all of a sudden, he still be silent for a whlile. I was concerned but shocked. Then dog turns out alright an hour later. True. that's a good idea, just a few sprinkles. will the few sprinkers piss dog off? Hope not.

Pepper had no effect on my Labs. They thought it was seasoning to make things more tasty.

i love labs. My in laws just adopted the big puppy last summer. this adorable dog is mixed with labs and germany shephard. He's so sweet and clusmy. Hes pretty big now. He loves to be around with my kids. cute.

One of our dogs used to nip when he was younger, but has grown out of it (he's 8 months). As soon as he was to nip, we would push him away, say "no" and leave.

My dog used to nip... until he accidently nipped my stepdad... down "there." After my stepdad kneeled over, the dog had a "something's very wrong" confused look on his face. Never nipped again after that incident.

Didn't have to train him or anything. And yes, the jewels are okay... apparently.

Thanks, RD. I need to re read it one more time right before we visit my friend's dog who has big dog today. But have you experience like this to stop dog from nibbling?

I had two dobermans when i was growing up. Kilo and Rex had always nibbled on my back. I hated that!

Well we had this shop dog at our workshop and he was a big Saint Bernard (like Kujo) and this dog would just out of nowhere come up and bite people in the crotch. Man I hated that. We had to get rid of that dog. I think the dog had some mental problems or something.
