Roe I grew up w/pidgeons. Dad raised several homers when I was little. Come to think of it maybe that's what's wrong w/me. Back before all this internet stuff, we would drive for miles to see birds or chat w/ breeders and racers.

cool.. thanks Brian.. we used had chicken/hen but we stopped for short time. I betcha you, ROE enjoy ur hobby to breed and racer. that's awesome.

Thanks Brian, I don't understand why those links are not working
they were working the other day, I hope though everyone viewing
the birds on Feathersight enjoys the beauty of the birds shown there.

Very few people would beleive it but chickens can be house trained,
I had a select few which would peck at my back door when they wanted in and when they needed to go to the bathroom they'd peck at the door to go back out but while in they'd just perch themselves in front of the tv
completely captivated by.

I love chickens, the one I loved most named mae was an Aracauna,
she would always want me to hold her and with the beard and fluffy
ear tuft she had she always reminded me of Abraham Lincoln, she layed
green eggs, some I had laid light brown eggs that had dark brown spots
and my BB Bantams laid marble sized eggs whereas I had others that
laid triple yolkers.

I even had a fighting game rooster I had rescued that was as sweet as could be, I had 30 roosters and none ever fought one another, it just depends
on how they are raised, all my chickens were pets, I even had crippled
blue-jays that would repeat tunes I had taught them, I also had owls.

All my animals died of old age so hopefully some day I can once again have
all the thigs I love because I really do miss them as well the fruit/nut orchard,
vegetable and flower gardens and goats I had.
