A confession to make...

I'm done with McDonald's!!

Actually, I'm done with most anything - this economy is killing me. Hubby still has his 2 jobs, but the checking account is so far overdrawn, that the bank is just eating the paycheck to cover the overdraft and I have no gas and could not buy any groceries. Water is due to be shut off tomorrow and I'm not sure what else. Life Sucks at this rate, but I try to keep positive and know that we will make it through. In spite of all of this, I am moving in November. The family and I are going to Florida to take care of my in-laws.

I'm sorry about your hard times! It does seem to make sense to just start over in November when you go to Florida. I went through a period like that long ago and just started over. It did make a world of difference.

I am sorry to read about your troubles.

Is there anyone in your extended family who can help out until you and your hubby can get back on your feet?

I confess I miss cuddling with a woman. :( I feel so alone!

Awww...I know so many single women who miss cuddling with a man! Just too bad u are on the other side of the country.

I confess that I am getting sick and tired of getting sick.

I need help with some skunks? - Yahoo! Answers

maybe worth a try before you shell out inflated prices for the TERMINATOR.

I confessed the moth balls all five boxes. WORKED! Yippee.

But the house do have a moth ball odor. not real bad. Enough to leave a faint smell. It remind me of Grandma's storage box. Nothing that a few lit scented candles can handle. Anyhoo. Beats the hell out of smelling the skunk odor that brings tears to my eyes.

My mother lives with us and has been helping and is as overdrawn as me and hubby's parents are bogged down with medical bills. I am keeping a positive attitude about it all. I went to a church bible study group this evening and a lady there is going to talk with her husband and get a WalMart gift card so I can get groceries for 2 weeks. Another friend in the group is going to check with the water department to see if they can hold off turning it off until later, if not, she will pay the bill.

I confess-----that I'm sick of the Grammy Awards. Can't hear the music and therefore it means nothing to me - daughter wants to hear the program so I have to deal with it.:giggle:

Oh, I had the moth balls a long time ago. I realized the moth balls cause a lung cancer. (I'm not kidding.) I got rid of them a few years ago.

I confess... I am freaking cold! my hands hurt!!

Sit on your hands, Braden's Mom!

:hmm: your post got me interested about Moth balls and cancer causing agents, web.

I looked into it personally as well, from a chemistry background.

Apparently years ago, older mothballs used a main chemical called: naphthalene, but they stopped using that for modern balls.
According to the ATDSR: (US Agency for Toxic Substances & Disease Registry):
ATSDR - Public Health Statement: Naphthalene, 1-Methylnaphthalene, and 2-Methylnaphthalene
It says that naphthalene is definitely an agent for problems:
Exposure to a large amount of naphthalene may damage or destroy some of your red blood cells. This could cause you to have too few red blood cells until your body replaces the destroyed cells. This problem is called hemolytic anemia. People, particularly children, have developed this problem after eating naphthalene-containing mothballs or deodorant blocks. Anemia has also occurred in infants wearing diapers that have been stored in mothballs. If your ancestors were from Africa or Mediterranean countries, naphthalene may be more dangerous to you than to people of other origins. These populations have a higher incidence of problems with an enzyme that usually protects red blood cells from damage created by oxygen in the air.
Now the modern ones today use 1,4-Dichlorobenzene as the main substance.
1,4-Dichlorobenzene (para-Dichlorobenzene) | Technology Transfer Network Air Toxics Web site | US EPA
From the US EPA.gov (environmental protection agency) it says:
The primary exposure to 1,4-dichlorobenzene is from breathing contaminated indoor air. Acute (short-term) exposure to 1,4-dichlorobenzene, via inhalation in humans, results in irritation of the skin, throat, and eyes. Chronic (long-term) 1,4-dichlorobenzene inhalation exposure in humans results in effects on the liver, skin, and central nervous system (CNS). No information is available on the reproductive, developmental, or carcinogenic effects of 1,4-dichlorobenzene in humans. A National Toxicology Program (NTP) study reported that 1,4-dichlorobenzene caused kidney tumors in male rats and liver tumors in both sexes of mice by gavage (experimentally placing the chemical in their stomachs). EPA has classified 1,4-dichlorobenzene as a Group C, possible human carcinogen.

* 1,4-Dichlorobenzene is used mainly as a fumigant for the control of moths, molds, and mildews, and as a space deodorant for toilets and refuse containers. (1)
* 1,4-Dichlorobenzene is also used as an intermediate in the production of other chemicals, in the control of tree-boring insects, and in the control of mold in tobacco seeds. (1)
Both have effects, but hopefully BB bought the dicholorobenzene compound! But all in all, anything is likely to cause cancer if you breathe it long term. Hopefully BB can check into it soon.

Not sure what chemical compound it was. I have a few more boxes in the shed. Will go Tmw and look at it.

It was the only brand they sold at Wally World (Wal-Mart)

But it also stated it has to be a concentrated amount.

I have read the warning labels on it and it did not state anything to affect anyone. But again I will check the chemical compound tmw.

I confess I don't want to go to work today :giggle: (because I will never get everything done...) *sigh*. I think it's going to be a loooong day :(

Hope yours will be better... :D

Lol... Funny thing is, its only one hand. Crazy!!

It IS cold in my house right now though! I am wrapped up in a blanket! If I wasn't getting ready for bed I would run down to Starbucks!! That would warm me up!

My first kiss was a girl on my grandma's bed.

I then practiced kissing on a Smith on a Pocahontas beach towel.

I'm naturally shy, but feel compelled to be socially outgoing with girls, but remain shy with boys.
