ah obviously u did try that... hmm thanks for information. i ll try that when i ll go backpacking... :naughty:

Meg, I'm sorry for jolting you out of your reverie...... ;)

If We Need Toilet paper just run to a gas station and take a couple of rolls off. Like what i do at mc donalds when im charged sales tax I take a bunch of napkins extra packs of mustard and fill em in the bottle. Same thing ay taco bell Grab lots of taco sauce and thatll pay for the sales tax.You see if the wealthy can raise prices to make you pay incoperate tax and pass it on to you? Then we can grab extra items at mc donalds and taco bell and pass the cost to them.

RS stop complaining about the government! there is no secret organization or conspiracy going on against toilet paper. Should we call up Mulder and Scully from X-Files and search for the truth on toilet paper?? ohhh im scared, the truth is out there somewhere on toilet paper. OHHHH im scared of toilet paper and i wouldnt wipe my ass anymore. geez....

No Wolf,,,Like i said theyre Loopholes around it. Go to the gas station and take a shit,,then wipe your ass.

i dont see anything wrong with toilet paper. i see one price for one roll of toilet paper cost 89 cent. 89 cents a roll!! that a good deal!

i just remembered something. i just went to the store near me. I checked on the price of one roll of toilet paper. it is 50 cents for one roll. so it cost 2 for a dollar. 2 rolls for a dollars that is not bad!

Let's see if I've got this straight:

You're not willing to pay a $0.02 for:

"wastewater treatment and help small towns and counties upgrade their sewer systems" in Florida.

I'd love to see this be a temporary tax -- 2 years, accumulate the funds to upgrade the sewer systems of a specific number of towns, then it expires.

Wastewater treatment should have its own local tax from each county served by that particular treatment plant.

That's where I stand on this tax. I'm not willing to make it a permanent tax.

There is almost no such thing as a temporary tax. It is a hundred times harder to remove or reduce a tax than to create or increase one. I wouldn't trust anyone who said, "this is just a temporary tax." Ha!

There are laws that only last for so long before they expire. All it takes is for someone to have a sunset clause. I realize it's such a joke, but then again, I bet if politicians want to ease the pain of having taxes added, this is one resolution to make it possible.

Bob Dole promised to repeal the 5 cent gasolene tax bill clinton raised. But the stupidty of the american people re-elected bill clinton on his 2nd term. If bob dole was elected you wouldnt be looking at $2 a gallon of gas.
