8 years old girl get pink rifles

I think pink gun is ugly color but it doesn't make difference when you can customize the guns in COD Ghosts.

I hope that the parents teach her to be safe, and that they keep the gun locked up properly when she's not supervised by an adult.

Well, you're not an 8-year-old girl. :giggle:

Personally, I don't want pink guns for myself but I don't mind pink gun cases and accessories.

She seems intelligent and sensible, I'm sure she'll be taught well and enjoy herself with her family in the great outdoors!

I would like a pink gun! Of course, I can't see to shoot anymore, so probably no one around me would be happy if I had one!

Hopefully the gun stays in a locked gun case when the parents are not directly supervising.

I think it is a wonderful idea. Teach gun safety early.

I think it's a horrible idea , as kids that young do not enough control over their emotions and could use the rifle if they been picked on or bulled in school . With all the mass shooting being done by young kids this the most insane thing I heard of. And I would never take money from a stranger to buy anything for my child , you have no idea if that person what that person motive is. That person could be trying to get close to the girl for all the wrong reasons.

I'm not a big gun person - I don't hunt, I don't eat meat.... I just don't justify it as being important to me. Many of my friends are hunters.... and they got guns when they could hold them (because of the weight). If a gun is in my home (if for example Boyfriend decides to get a gun) I don't care if I like it or not, I'm learning how to use it. If the girl is around guns she should know how to respect it.

I don't think we can judge if the girl lives in a hunting/gun culture. Just because someone has a gun in their hands doesn't mean they'll use it to hurt someone. Just like owning a car doesn't mean you'll run someone over.

And how lucky the national media to ignore the thousand upon thousand of instances of how guns have saved lives and prevented further crimes.

Maybe I'd start them off with a BB or pellet gun to prove their safety.... Then we could move up from there.

This is my rifle ....
this is my gun ...
this is for killing ...
and THIS is for fun ...
:naughty:

Seriously just reminded me of this..lol

Jonesboro is a town with a strong gun culture. I just hope the parents keep the gun locked up and teach her safety skills with it.

I think that the earlier a child learns to respect firearms, the better. My dad got me and my brother guns when we were kids, but he kept them locked up in a safe when he was not supervising us. My little sister felt left out, which surprised all of us, so she got to target practice with us too. If this 8 year old was taking archery lessons, would you object? Target practice is good, wholesome and clean fun. As long as the child understands that it is not a toy, and is to be respected, then in my opinion, it is a learning tool.

Well, people could change when they are teen or adult.

My grandparent taught me about guns when I was very younger, even they influenced me to became very religious person, so I decided to denounce their influence when I was teen because I don't agree with them.

Yes, people can change but once they become adults the responsibility is on them, not the parents. If the parents gave them proper training when they were younger, then as adults they can't blame their parents or say they didn't know better.

Oh yes, you are correct about that.

It is better to teach about firearm safety to children so it is up to them to be armed or not when they become adult.

That's better than sorry.

Pink rifle hunting small game with .22 rifle. Its for hunting mostly no different from boys rite passage around here with bows and hunting turkeys or and deer

Good luck trying to camo that, sorry but pink defies purpose of hunting and blending in unless animal like pink and comes to it
