The price of college textbooks are damn expensive but VR paid all for 3 courses and I paid one textbook for other course at cheaper via Amazon.

I don't find your source that support your claim.

I caught you to replaced "the Chicago area" with the Arkansas and Alabama area.

Based on my experience, Alabama and Arkansas aren't same place but only much similar is southern culture and political system since environment is different. Alabama is more popular place to live than in Arkansas.

I'm from Alabama, not Arkansas.
