They have arrested a man who is in his 40s in CA for luring a 13 year old female teenager from Utah.

They've met from World of Warcraft, chat online, talk on the phone and such. But I do not know if they ever talked thru webcam since she may not even have any idea what he really looks like. I feel pity for the kid being so guillble on that freak. Even the freak should know better as well. She is 13 yrs old! Ugh that just sickens me at least I'm glad the cops went to find the girl at the bus station before she go to CA in time. They have warned her that the man she's going to see is NOT what she assumed and she was in a great deal of shock. So, the officers have "took her place" to continue the chat with the 40 year old freak as they begin talking some more, and the officer who plays as the 13 yr old girl leaned on to him into more sexual ways and he shared his fantasties of what he likes to do to her...in extremely frightening and violent ways. So they came up to his house and arrested him before the judge sentenced him in jail without bail.

Let this be a lesson to you kids...NEVER meet anyone off the net until you REALLY see their true side.

California Man Accused Of Using Internet To Lure 13 Year Old Utah Girl

Kids are supposed not to play on WoW game.

You probably already play against minor on Xbox Live that you never know.

it happens sometime and somewhere.. just watch out and ask thier age before you do..

or dont talk about that way to them until they prove that they are over age something..

or you know that person like * meet in person* then that fine.. i guess..

for me, i dont thrust any stranger.. i only allow them which whom i know..

Parents are supposed to teach kids not to meet or chat with strangers online. I told my kids not to chat with strangers online except "pre-texted" chat like in ClubPenguin.com . They are well aware of it cuz they heard it on news and at school. I wouldn't let my kids to play WoW games cuz they're underages! Simple as it.

Parent who let 13 yr old girl play WoW aren't disciplining or girl might have hid it from parent knowledge.

You should allow them to play online games and make FBI work so hard.

It's kinda tough thing to do, because teens think their parents are being too strict and protective. Families and friends would give the parents hard time and tell them to ease up the restrictions instead of minding their own business. (Oh you are being paranoid, and stuffs like that) Parents do not want to seem like they are overly protective. Because of this, it make their children resent their parents even more when they hear what other people 's opinions about their parents being strict with computers. You never hear a teen get mad at his mom for not allowing him to drive at 14 because it is acceptable restriction.

Sadly stuffs like this does happen.. and often. And I personally know three grown men using computers for young girls.. They ended up in jail and I was just shocked because I've known them almost most of my life.

 My sons refuse to play some games at friend's house which they think it's inappropriate. They asked me to "test" game before they play. I test the game and told them it's just appropriate for them.

One of PS2 game called Spiderman 2 that I thought it was just a swinging spiderman hop to one building to another and get points. Until my oldest son gotten so good at it and it moved him to higher level. It became more violent and my teenage daughter was complaining that there are rude words spoken in the game. I noticed my son was becoming aggressive after game. I took the game out and explained to my son it's not appropriate. He realized that it's affecting him. He's more careful in selecting games.

It's the same goes for online game so we all have to watch out their behaviors and check to be sure if the game does not contain anything that allow direct communication with strangers. My sons currently playing Runescape and it's fine with me. They used to play Pirate of the Carribean and got burnt out of it.. They also starting to play Lego games online.

It was rated "E" for everyone! This should be "T" for Teen cuz of crude language, It's not a swear language tho. My daughter hates it when she heard it.

Well that "crude" language would be what every kid heard of all the time and I guess whether your daughter likes it or not, she may have to accept it since she will hear that word again somewhere else, no offense.

Anyway, that artist who drew spider-man had the weblines on his costume wrong.

What do you mean by costume?

Look closer at the web lines between the cartoon and the comic. You will see what I mean when I said that the artist who drew the cartoon had spider-man's web lines wrong.

Who care and it's art so there is no right or wrong.

Okay then...well it looks retarded for having the weblines in "backwards" than what most webs normally look like.

But anyway stick to the topic.

I dont think it is right to let any young people such as the girl to play more and letting the FBI work hard as it is like taking advantage of the innocents in order to get the real sexual predators to jail...never know if one of the innocents will actually be a victim before its too late to save the innocent.

Yeah, I know I am 16 and I really watch out for that crap. It is really sad there are freaks online gaming to find young people to fool around with. There's this person I met on Xfire, (we have been gaming for quite a while), and he said he could give me a brand new Gaming PC, and I was so suprised I never had one before. I found out I live close to him, and he sent it for free. I had some problems with the sound card, he bought me new speakers and a sound card and came up to my house. He is 66 years old, but a real nice dude! I did have my suspicions, but seems it never turned out that way. Some people can be really nice people and others can be freaks you wish you'd never met. Ya gotta know theres still good peeps out there!
