yep I always wear helmet! thanks! hugs~!

Ouchie, hope u are ok. You reminded me of "Chase" whom I called the little boy whose his mom is my best friend. He jumped on atv and raced with his friends, all of suddenly he wrecked and got bandaid up all over. I started calling him "bandaid boy".. "Chase" is his real name but his nickname is "Bandaid boy" .. He had cuts all over his body cuz he didn't have helmet or pads. When his mom called me about what happened and i rushed to hospital and saw him having bandage all over him. I started call him "Bandaid boy"..

That hurts! I hope you recover soon as you can! That was a nasty mess!

hope you get better soon

That hurts.. have seen many ATV accidents around trails. many of those who are careless :-x

I remember myself flipped when i was playing in sandpit. falled off and flew in air for few feet sprained my ankle and bruised inside back at least i wear helmet.. remmy that i hit my head hard on ground.

few of my friends who go on trails.. don't wear helmet.. i asked them why? they just say "i'm a redneck i don't need helmet." o well when they expirence it .. then not my plm.

one of my friend fall off ATV. had ATV rollover on his head.. luckly he's wearing helmet.

Yeah DeafSCUBA98 , I see the same thing .....

" I am a Good Ol' Redneck I got a tough hide , Nothing bad won't happen I have been riding 4 wheelers for years... Ahh don't worry " and then they take off with the throttle thumb pressed full blast "

The old timers who have been around the ATV trails shake their head in digust as he tears up the grass and dirt and goes in circles spitting mud all around on his tires and pops wheelies trying to prove how cool he is.

The old timers try to tell him .....

" Go slow, enjoy the wildlife you may see some deer maybe a bear take good pictures, maybe you will come across an un-discovered waterfall, and if you get hurt then there is no help for miles around. That helmet may just save your life and the rest of the day too, Here is a spare helmet you can use mine until you buy your own helmet "

This is usually said by the team leader or someone who people respect and look up to because he is the ATV trailmaster and has people's safety in mind and wants to see poeple have a good time especially people with families as well as individual ATV riders.

Even I'm a country girl or however people call me.. I still wear a helmet regardless. I don't care if they say a "redneck" don't wear helmets.. its really dangerous without it. I actually hit my head so hard and the helmet saved me. If I wasn't wearing one, I'd probably have gone unconscious or cut my head open.

In Tenn where we were riding at is required wearing helmets or else you're out of there. but whereever I'm at, I always have helmet in handy!

Hi Rebelgirl, If you do not mind ..... Can I put the manuals for most makes and models of all-terrain vehicles if someone does not have their orginial ATV owner's manual and repair information then they can order the manual that was supposed to go with their ATV .....

Find ATV repair manuals and repair parts
by selecting the model year.
