33 Stores That Don’t Ask You To Leave Your Dog Outside While You Shop

I like your link, Robin. It led me to this one where one can find dog-friendly stores by state:

Very cool.

I found out that:

"Almost every store on King Street [downtown Charleston] will allow your well-behaved dog to come inside while you shop. Many also leave water bowls outside their doors for parched pooches, but be careful, because a bowl of water on a hot sidewalk can get mighty warm mighty fast. It's always polite to ask, but we didn't have anyone turn down our request to let our pit bull shop with us... much appreciated when it's scorching hot outside."

I didn't know that.

I don't have any dogs but I'll pass this on to my daughter. They have an Aussie.

#28 - Nordstrom's ROTTIE in the scene...

generally really cool though

Used to take my Saint Bernards shopping at Big Dog clothing, they were always quite the hit.

I'm sure they were! Quite an appropriate place to take your Saints!

At one of the local farmer's markets, there is often a beautiful brace of Anatolians who come w/their handler. They're a male and female, both therapy dogs. Gathers quite a crowd at the market!
