These are beautiful photos of old lighthouses .
 
It absolutely does. It's north of Duluth.

I should add that, while I'm not 100% certain, I think it's not in use anymore. When I was last there it was vacant and I was able to walk all the stairs up to the top and nobody was there. It could be the time of year, though, since it was late winter. The shipping harbors may have closed for the season at that time.

This tell the history of the lighthouse , it's interesting .
 
you tube not got my light house...the other light house that not to far is thought to be the light the air base soldiers saw at Renledsham.which would mean the beam would have come inland 6miles

I read that it finally closed but was named a national landmark and can be visited......

I looked that up too after you asked about that yesterday. I see that they still shine the light once a year in memory of a big ship that sunk (I think the Edmund Fitzgerald.) I watched a documentary on that on TV a few years ago.

none of them manned anymore..i glad subject aired you gave me link to the ship name I been trying to think of past few years..If book early they take public all around coast as they check light houses..That the British link wdys posted thanks
