3,700 Post Offices Could Closed.

I read in the newspaper a couple weeks ago that they may reduce the mail delivery days to 3 days a week.
 
3 in my area are slated to be closed. It was already in our local newspaper. 2 are in the same city.
 
There's a lot of misunderstanding in this issue. All I can say is that it's very difficult to do this process because of federal laws.

Hmmm, not looking too good. Snail mail would be still nice for birthday cards and christmas cards, etc. E-cards are still not impressive materials for lot of other people.
 
Agreed. E-cards is SHIT and pathetic and risky for gullible ones to get lured to opening viruses

Yes it is sad that a lot of people will lose their jobs in this tough job markets.
43 PO are going to close in my state ,Massachusetts . I can't believe it I spelled ' ,Massachusetts' right and did not need spell check!
 
post office is so mis managed...
why not deliver mail M-W-F instead of every day Monday to Saturday..
save money on fuel / staff..

There is link right in the thread I posted , it has all the PO in every state that could be closed . 'State by state list' is in blue print which is a link you click on.

it's just a talk. federal law requires 60-days period or something for petition purpose.
