3/4 sibling

I saw that CSI last week or so. Mother raped her own son(M1) then she got pregnant as "son" (M2).

So son(M2)'s father/brother is (M1) and mother is mother/grandma. She got arrested for that after 30 years later. CSI tech thought they messed up with DNA lab and they keeps double check with DNA lab again.

It's very confuse. Even, it fools anyone. :hmm:

I read about this video, it said that the brother/man is an adopted child. His name is Patrick Stübing. Kind of changes the whole "same family" thing.. but is it still incest to you guys now knowing this?

Sometimes I wonder which definition people consider incest, is it the moral act of brother and sister or is it the biological (same family) practice?
Kind of reminds me of the thing going on with Dexter in the recent season...

Hmm, I guess it's not as bad if he's adopted, can't think why else some of the children were deformed then :S

Yeah, there's a little bit of different scenarios.

A) Kid in family is sent out for adoption at a young age. (1-3 years old) Someone else takes him and raises him for 20+ years. When he's 25, he goes back and sees his biological family and finds an interest with his biological sister.

B) Adopted kid joins a new family. He and his foster sister grow up together for many years. When he's 25, they have a love interest (it is not his biological sister).

The case with Patrick is A. They are deformed because it's his biological sister that he hadn't met for 20 years. The case with Dexter is B (oops, hope I didn't spoil the season for anyone).
How do you folks feel about A and B situations?

Whoops, had a complete mind lapse , I totally forgot that it was definite they were related

A) eew

B) eew

There are almost 7 billion people on the planet. That you can't find someone else not related to you or that you grew up in a family with is pathetic. Truly.

There has been cases of where siblings married each other without knowing they were in fact, related. Crazy, I know.
